UKS2 recently took part in some fieldwork studying our local area and exploring what attracts people to our town. They completed soundscapes, building sketches, area observations of the quality of a specific place and surveys with members of the community.

Despite a little rain, the children loved being out and about and it was lovely to have so many people comment on just how polite our pupils were when interviewing. Back at school now, the children are analysing their findings and making suggestions for improving areas of the town. They hope to share their outcomes with the local town council.
