A litte bit about our school.

Welcome to our school website.

A warm welcome from the staff, governors and children at Bosmere Community Primary School.

Our School has kindness and collaboration at its heart: supporting, promoting, encouraging, and guiding every single person to be the best that they can be. We believe it is our duty to guide the development of our learners socially, emotionally, physically, and academically-in equal measure.

Our endeavour is to enable every person to learn and grow, nurturing the life and personal skills required to be successful. At Bosmere, we relish challenges as opportunities, knowing that perseverance and determination are characteristics we need to rise to them. Providing the tools and opportunities to have the confidence to achieve this is part of daily life at school.

Adults are committed to provide excellent teaching and learning, through engaging and enjoyable experiences, maximising the potential of all learners. Learners are committed to giving their best.

Life and learning at Bosmere is inclusive and fun, making memories for life!

Bosmere Community Primary School is a vibrant, successful, average sized Primary School in Needham Market, Suffolk. We are one of 8 primary schools from Stowmarket and Ipswich, who form Children’s Endeavour Trust. We work closely as a group of schools, harnessing the strengths from within each to provide the best education for our children.

Our school has kindness and collaboration at its heart: supporting, promoting, encouraging and guiding every single person to be the best they can be. Our endeavour is to enable every individual to learn and grow, nurturing the life and personal skills required to be happy and successful.

We are proud of our school and our children within. Enjoy exploring our site-for a real flavour of Bosmere, please visit the newsletter section of the site. Here you will find BOB-Best of Bosmere-our monthly newsletter documenting a month in the life of Bosmere-it is a super way of entering the world of our school.

Mrs Liz Green

We have so much to share with you about our lovely school.

We remain proud to share the outcome of our last Ofsted Inspection and, although some time ago now, the ‘Good’ outcome continues to reflect the hard work, effort and commitment that our Bosmere community of teaching and support staff, parents, governors and, most importantly, our children collectively show on a daily basis.

Bosmere Community Primary School is now part of the Children's Endeavour Trust

As of 1st May 2020, we are pleased to announce that Bosmere Community Primary School has joined other local primary schools as part of the Children’s Endeavour Trust (C.E.T) multi academy trust.

At Bosmere we work with the other schools within the C.E.T MAT to explore the different way  in which we can work collaboratively to improve the education of our collective pupils.

For more information about the Trust, please click here

Enjoy visiting the rest of our website, we hope it gives you a real flavour of life and learning at Bosmere. Little City EYFS

Reception and Nursery children REALLY loved experiencing our day from Little City. The children had the opportunities to dress up and role play a range of scenarios. As you can see from the photos the children got to ride on ride on toys, experience being shop keepers, builders and mechanics. They all got a flavour of what dream jobs would actually be like when they are older.  It really was a fun filled morning that helped to mark the end of the topic ALL ABOUT ME. We really must thank our PFA who paid for the session from their funds - We could not have held this session without their support.

A bitesize introduction to Bosmere

Bosmere is a vibrant school, run by an enthusiastic and hard working team!

Positive relationships, based on mutual trust, are fostered, always aiming to educate the whole child. A lively, topic-based curriculum provides enriching learning experiences for children across the school. We value our relationship with our community and believe children achieve their best when parents and school work in partnership together.

Our website has been designed to celebrate our school and keep visitors informed about important information related to school life.

Each Phase of the school has its own section and so there you will find out more about specific age groups within the school. There is a fair amount to see here-enjoy the viewing.

We are very proud of our school and are pleased to share with you, among many posts, some magic moments in learning from all phases of the school. For a real flavour of Bosmere, I would direct you to our newsletters page and suggest you browse through Best of Bosmere, our monthly celebratory newsletter.

As I have indicated, we welcome all visitors and so encourage you to make contact with the school, either by telephone or email (see above), to make an appointment.  Mrs Broadhurst would be happy to help you with any queries in the first instance. We look forward to developing our relationship with you and your child/ren.
